What is the suggested attire?

Answer

Garden party formal. This is an evening wedding, so we would like everyone to err on the side of formality. For ladies, full-length dresses, cocktail dresses, or elegant pantsuits are appropriate. For men, dark suits or tuxes are preferred.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While the wedding is mostly geared towards adults, children are welcome. Please let us know if you are planning to bring your children so that we can prepare and make sure they are comfortable.

I have specific dietary needs. May I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Our caterer is very flexible. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP and we will be happy to accommodate.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes. Our hotel block is with the Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress. Please see the "Travel" tab of this website for the block link and other details.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No. The hotel and the venue are centrally located. Uber is the best way to get around.

Is there parking for the wedding venue?

Answer

The UMLAUF has a private lot with 22 spaces. An overflow lot for additional parking is located across the street at Wright Field. There is a crosswalk leading from the lot to the UMLAUF entrance.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer
