Flight
Closest airport, flies into Downtown San Diego which is about an hour drive or about two hour shuttle and train ride to Carlsbad.
Travel Note
An Uber/Lyft from San Diego International Airport to Carlsbad will be anywhere between $80 to $120. Another option is to take the North County Coaster (https://gonctd.com/schedules/) from Old Town Transit Center to Carlsbad. There is a free shuttle called the "San Diego Flyer" (https://www.san.org/to-from/Public-Transportation#1178347-san-diego-flyer) that goes from the airport to the Old Town transit center, then the Coaster train goes from there up the coast, stopping right near the venue- Carlsbad Poinsetta- and our apartment- Carlsbad Village- we've done this multiple times when we would rather take our time on a relaxing shuttle with great ocean views!
