Please RSVP by March 1st, so that we can have accurate head count.
Because the lodge is a bed and breakfast, the pricing can seem a bit complicated. You’re welcome to book just the room and do your own meals (Saturday's dinner is provided by us!!), or book accommodation with all meals included, which is the more comprehensive option. If you’re staying only on Saturday night, you can simply select the Sunday breakfast option. There are plenty of choices, so you can pick what works best for you.
You are not required to stay on Friday night. We know many of you will be working on Friday and may not be able to arrive until Saturday — and that’s absolutely fine. We’ll be at the lodge on Friday evening if you’d like to join, but please feel free to arrive whenever works best for you.
The whole Lodge is reserved for the wedding on Friday and Saturday night. That way you don't need to travel to and from the venue. You will be able to dance the night away and walk straight to your room.

Absolutely! This is a family-friendly celebration. The venue is very accommodating for children — they offer kids’ meals (which can be served earlier for little ones) and can provide rollaway beds or cots on request. That said, if you’re hoping for a child-free weekend, you’re more than welcome to come and enjoy the party kid-free!
YES!!! We just ask that you stay out of the aisle and be mindful of where the photographer is. But we want to see our day from your perspective! We will have a QR code on the tables at reception to a shared photo album that everyone can upload their own pictures and videos from the day. We’re counting on you to capture things like our vows, speeches, etc!
If there isn't a plus one on your invite just reach out to us and we will see if we can squeeze them in!
This wedding is taking place at the base of a ski resort right at the beginning of winter. It will likely be cold. The same weekend in 2025 there was snow on the mountain and down to the Lodge. So please bear this in mind when choosing your outfits. There will be blankets provided for the ceremony and the lodge is usually kept warm by a fire.
Yes! It is a ski lodge so there is plenty of parking at the Lodge.
Our ceremony is planned to be outdoors, weather permitting. In the case of extreme weather, we’ll move it to inside the lodge.
We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend. Our ceremony and reception will take place in the Lodge where we reserved our room block and where most guests will be staying, so no additional transport will be required for our nuptials.
For our friends and family traveling from the States please reach out and we can have a conversation about where to fly into NZ and potential places to stay before and after the wedding.
Yes absolutely! Please let us know on your RSVP and when you book your lodge accommodation there is a section there that will ask for it as well.
We are excited to celebrate with you all.
