What's the arrangement for drinks?

Answer

We will be operating a Toonie bar ($2 for all drinks) cash only. Our bar will be expertly run by Teresa Mah who can keep track of your tab if you want to avoid a roll of Toonies.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off. If you live locally, we would love if you could arrange for a babysitter so we can spend quality time with you celebrating. If you are from out of town- let us know if you'd like us to help arrange a trustworthy babysitter or we can figure something else out that works best for you.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking everyone to make their own arrangements for travel. The ceremony venue is approximately 10 minutes driving from Rossland. Reception is at the Rossland Miner's hall in downtown Rossland. Please arrange a safe ride home or alternatively reach out to Sara or Dan to arrange a discounted stay at the Prestige hotel, 2 minutes walking from the Miner's hall. Please do not drink and drive.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your attendance is more than enough for us. For those kind souls who would like to give a gift a contribution to our 'Own home fund' would be most appreciated. We are maxed out on space in our current place and hope to purchase our own home in the next year. Any contribution large or small will go along way to helping us achieve this.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Be mindful the ceremony will be on grass so consider footwear. We want you to feel comfortable but please, no dress sweats Bob!

Can we use debit or credit cards at the venue?

Answer

Toonie bar will be cash only.

Are you having an unplugged wedding?

Answer

We'd prefer that during the ceremony you didn't take photos with your phones and to be in the present moment with us. After that, no problem.

Do you need help in the run up to the big day?

Answer

Most likely any extra hands will be welcome in the days leading up. Send us a message or email if you are keen to help out! Any and all is welcomed and appreciated.
