We met in Chicago right before the 2020 Covid pandemic lockdown. On the very first day, we grabbed lunch and ended up spending the whole day together talking, laughing, and walking through the snow until it got dark. That first walk lasted three hours, and in many ways, we never stopped. With the world slowed down, we had the space to really be present with each other. We quickly became inseparable. From the beginning, it just felt easy like we could be fully ourselves. There was no pressure, just a natural connection that felt rare and effortless. We’ve always said we’re the same kind of eccentric, and somehow that made all the difference. We got engaged in 2023, and now in 2025, we’re getting married. We’ve grown through a lot together, built something strong, and now we get to keep doing life side by side as husband and wife.
