Maid of Honor
Steff and Miranda have a love affair for the ages that started in the workplace - two young gals in the peak of their 20’s bonding over hobbies, love lives, and the mundaneness of a job otherwise populated with older folk. Their friendship didn’t reach its full and unwavering form until Steff moved over seas to Scotland. Over hours of Zoom chats, wedding planning, and deep fried pizza (on Steff's end anyway) the two built a connection that has stood the test of time. Almost nine years after the two of them met, that unwavering, telepathic, sisterly bond is still as strong as ever.

Miranda and Emily met while the two of them were both working at Queens Park many, many years ago. Emily was immediately intimidated by Miranda’s cool-girl effortless beauty and Miranda immediately knew Emily was going to be her friend. Shortly after they met, Miranda commissioned Emily to paint her dog Bowie, and the two met up for a few Jameson shots at a sketchy bar in the Annex (RIP Greenroom). Emily eventually moved into the downstairs of the Lansdowne house and the Friendship Girl Palace was born. While they are both happy to not be living in sketchy accommodations any longer, they are incredibly happy to still be best pals.

Miranda and Dana met back in the day of Juicy velour tracksuits and over plucking your eyebrows. While they;d spent most of junior high and highschool swapping shady notes and secrets, it wasn't until long after after graduation that the two reconnected in London, UK. Their friendship really kicked off after one magical weekend of shenanigans, and the two have been travelling back and forth between the east coast and Ontario now for the better part of a decade. Miranda is so incredibly thankful for the Maritime Magic Dana brings to her life, and she is so excited to have her childhood bestie standing beside her on her wedding day!
Bridesmaid
Jennie and Miranda met as all good friends do - at a really intimidating burlesque class! While they met in 2017, the two of them have spent the past 4 years attached at the ear while Jennie has been living abroad. Their friendship has never skipped a beat while the two have bonded so much over their thousands of instagram videos to each other. The more they learned about each other over those calls, the more they have realized the many ways their pasts were unknowingly intertwined - from Erin Fall Fairs as children, to working in the UK event scene as adults. Now Jennie lives in Toronto, just a 5 minute walk away from Miranda and Daniel and the two friends are closer than ever.
Bridesmaid
Cailin and Miranda *technically* met in highschool but it wasn't until their early 20's when things really kicked off. From dressing as zambonis and music festival shenanigans, to portaging in the Algonquin wilderness, the two have done it all. Miranda is so lucky to have Cailin as bridesmaid and is also excited to be standing beside Cailin on her big day when she also marries her perfect human this summer.
Best Man
The Master of Time. The Shaw Henk Redemption. That’s The Show. The Scarecrow Song. Cold Troll and Robot Dan. “Court Her”. 10/10 Bag Physics (ask Jordan). Countless insides jokes that need too much explanation. The sign of a great best man. And a great best friend. They’ve lived together, worked together, and trained together. Sharing passions, hobbies and a love of the dark and sardonic, these boys are brothers.
Groomsman
Daniel and Adam go way back— because, you guessed it, they’re brothers. But more than just being the OG brothers, they’ve been good friends their whole lives too. Countless childhood hours spent watching each other play one game or another and partnering up whenever it was possible. It was one New Year’s Eve sitting on a snow covered roof drinking(eating) peach schnapps snow-cones, when they went from good brothers to good friends. Always sharing interests, supporting careers and harbouring that Henkel sense of Adventure. Mario and Luigi could take notes.

Daniel met Tyeson through Matt Shaw in their second year of University. The first night they all hung out, it turned into what can only be described as a John Hughes-like moment of running through a field screaming with absolute reckless abandon while it rained so hard their socks were wet. Needless to say, their friendship, although at the moment tangential, was made special. After University, Tyeson had Dan move in to his spare room while he looked for a new place. Little did they know it would be three doors down the hall. Tyeson is our most fashionable friend. Always down for a dance party in the black light, or a JCVD movie on the couch, he’s a good man and a good friend.

BRUTHAHHHHH!!! These Partners in Clown, Jordan and Dan, met at Ryerson and worked along side each other on countless plays. For their Thesis Performance they created a show about two Imaginary friends exploring what it means to exist when there is no one there to imagine you existing (rave Reviews— but besides the point). They were brothers in their work, they were brothers in their plays, and they were brothers in their video games! After the last day of first semester at Theatre School, when asked at 11:00pm , ‘whatduyawannado’ Jordan and Daniel did not expect the answer would be to start Super Mario Bros. for the Wii and not stop until they beat all 7 levels. Which they did (mostly 3 stars on each, nbd). and from then on, they were brothers.

Zac and Dan met working at a restaurant out in Parkdale, a little hipster fine dining place called Chantecler (r.i.p.) and there is something to be said about how much you enjoy the people you work with, when you’re at the same place for over 6 years. Their friendship was made strong through late, gin filled nights working behind the bar and on the floor together. but it was made stronger by their time spent being nerds. On one Cyber Monday they ordered throwing knives and a new xbox for Zac, and a new tradition was born. whether its playing chess until 6am, crying at marvel movies in the theatres or sketching together in the dead of winter, these boys are friends, and good ones.
