What is the Interactive Dining Experience?
Answer
Enjoy a unique Interactive Dining and Dessert Experience where select Reading Terminal Market Merchants will remain open offering miniature, made-to-order menu items prepared fresh right at their stands. Guests will travel to each Merchant to retrieve the prepared menu item to create the meal for the evening. The dinner items will be available from 7:30-9:00 and the dessert items will be available from 9:30-11:30. Savor the flavors of Philadelphia from these iconic vendors in a truly one-of-a-kind setting. Refer to the map on the menu tab for the location of the vendor stands remaining open. The food items will also be butlered by RTM team members in the reception area.

Where do I enter The Reading Terminal Market?
Answer
Doors will open at 7:30. The event entrance will be Door Six of the Reading Terminal Market. This is located at the corner of 12th Street and Filbert Street and positioned beneath the iconic Reading Terminal Market neon sign. This entrance will also be indicated by a sidewalk sign that reads: Private Event Entrance. Dinner will be available promptly at 7:30 so timely arrival is requested. Once you are inside, there will be Reading Terminal Team members present to help you navigate the market.

If I'm not staying at a hotel, where can I park?
Answer
If you don't plan on staying at the hotel and will be driving to the venue, we will have complimentary parking at the Hilton Garden Inn Garage, located at 1102 Arch Street (at 11th and Arch Streets). Look for signs for Metropolis Parking. Complimentary parking is only available if you enter the lot after 6pm and exit the lot before 6am the next morning. Below you'll find instructions on how to obtain the complimentary rate: You will enter the parking lot and scan the QR code at the elevator. Once scanned, you’ll be prompted to enter your license plate number to register your vehicle and create an account. Inside the Market, a team member will be near the entrance and will have a “Comp Parking” QR code available for guests to scan. When you arrive at the exit gate of the parking lot, it will automatically scan your license plate, recognize the comp parking on you account, and allow you to exit. PLEASE NOTE: Complimentary parking is not available at the Parkway Parking Garage, located at 12th and Filbert Streets. You can only receive complimentary parking if you use the Hilton Garden Inn Garage, located at 1102 Arch Street (at 11th and Arch Streets). Refer to the map on the menu tab for visual.

Is there a ceremony beforehand?
Answer
No, this is just a reception celebrating our marriage. We have private plans for our wedding on a previous date.

We love your kids, but thought you might like a night off! Adults only please.

I have a food allergy or other dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?
Answer
If for any reason you cannot participate in the Interactive Dining Experience, please contact Dan or Melissa and we will speak with The Reading Terminal Market about an alternative meal for you.
Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?
Answer
There will be no transportation provided. Both the Marriot and Loews are just a few steps away from the Reading Terminal Market entrance.

Is there assigned seating?
Answer
Dinner will be an open concept seating style so there will be no assigned seats.
