Welcome

Our goal for this wedding is to bring people from both sides together. Family is deeply important to us and this is a union, after all! The greatest gift you could give us during this time is to celebrate, talk, and laugh with one another. Nuestro objetivo para esta boda es unir a las personas de ambos lados. When I first saw Lorelei, she was sitting in the back of the classroom while I was in the front. She instantly stood out to me. She was beautiful. Plus, her own unique style and constant sketching and doodling intrigued me. Once I got to know her, I realized that she was funny and sarcastic but also very smart and incredibly creative. She drew me in with her wit and soon enough, she had me hooked. Spring break rolled around and she invited me to go snowboarding with her. It was the first time that we had spent time alone, and it was incredible. I knew then that I had to ask her out. Fast forward through a wonderful month and 3 really long summer months apart, and we became inseparable. I learned how much I really loved her and that I couldn’t bear the thought of living the rest of my life without her. When the time finally came, I proposed to her, surrounded by lights, but the brightest thing I could see was her smile. I am incredibly grateful to be blessed with the love of my life and to spend the rest of my life with her. In the beginning, I only knew Daniel by his strong, loud voice and the back of his dark, curly hair. He sat in the front of our class, and I sat in the back of the room as usual. Frankly, he fascinated me. As time went on, I finally saw his handsome face and got to know his playful and knowledge-hungry soul. I found myself falling for the goofball despite all my efforts. When we finally sat next together in Dr. Joe's Old Testament class, I knew my fate was sealed. I drew on his hand during class, he walked me home every afternoon, and we kept each other company during the battle against our exams. I waited rather impatiently the whole Spring semester for him to make a move. When he finally did, and we sat together under the string lights, I was content. Almost exactly a year later, we are engaged and planning our wedding. I found in Daniel a loving, cuddly, godly man who would always protect me and care for me. In him, I found adventure, joy, and fearlessness. Even though he is horribly forgetful, I know for certain he will never forget me and will always love me unconditionally. As for me, I know I will always love him with my whole heart.

La primera vez que vi a Lorelei, ella estaba sentada en la parte de atrás del salón de clases mientras que yo estaba al frente. De inmediato me llamó la atención. Era hermosa. Cuando finalmente llegó el momento, le propuse matrimonio, rodeado de hermosas luces, pero la luz más brillante que pude ver fue su sonrisa. Estoy increíblemente agradecido de haber sido bendecido con el amor de mi vida y de poder pasar el resto de mis días a su lado. Al principio, solo conocía a Daniel por su voz fuerte y sonora, y por la parte de atrás de su cabello oscuro y rizado. Él se sentaba al frente de la clase, y yo como siempre, al fondo del salón. Francamente, me fascinaba. Con el tiempo, finalmente vi su rostro apuesto y conocí su alma juguetona y hambrienta de conocimiento. A pesar de todos mis esfuerzos, me encontré enamorándome de ese muchacho juguetón. Cuando por fin nos sentamos juntos en la clase del Antiguo Testamento del Dr. Joe, supe que mi destino estaba sellado. Le dibujaba en la mano durante la clase, él me acompañaba a casa cada tarde, y nos hacíamos compañía en la batalla contra los exámenes. Esperé, con bastante impaciencia, todo el semestre de primavera a que me invitara a salir. Cuando finalmente lo hizo, y nos sentamos juntos bajo las luces colgantes, me sentí en paz. Casi exactamente un año después, estamos comprometidos y planeando nuestra boda. En Daniel encontré a un hombre amoroso, cariñoso y temeroso de Dios, que siempre me protegerá y cuidará de mí. En él encontré aventura, alegría y valentía. Aunque es terriblemente olvidadizo, sé con certeza que nunca se olvidará de mí y que siempre me amará incondicionalmente. Por mi parte, sé que siempre lo amaré con todo mi corazón.
