PUBLIC TRANSIT to THE SANCTUARY
If you're on the Upper East side, catch the scenic tram at 59th Street and 2nd Avenue. There can sometimes be a bit of a line on the weekends, so be sure to factor that into travel time. If you're taking the subway, grab an F to the Roosevelt Island stop. Both these options will take you to the south end of the island, where you can either take the free red shuttle bus to the Octagon (888 Main Street) or stroll up along the West Promenade waterfront.

RED SHUTTLE BUS
A free shuttle that runs along Roosevelt Island ~every 15 minutes. Hop on a bus just outside the subway or tram stop, and hop off at the Octagon (or vice versa) - it's about a ten minute ride. The drivers don't always announce the stops, but it's the big stone building with a sign that reads "The Octagon" in a flowerbed near the bus stop! From there, it’s a quick walk to your left through the parking lot of the Octagon - you’ll pass tennis courts and a baseball field on your left as the building is on your right (there will be signs)! Turn right at the stop sign and follow the road down toward the river to reach The Sanctuary (an old stone church) around the corner on your left.

WALKING FROM SUBWAY/TRAM
It's a ~20 minute walk. Follow the West Promenade north along the water looking out over Manhattan (which should be to your left) - if you pass Cornell Tech/the Graduate hotel, you're going the wrong way! When you reach the pier that looks like an old rusty boat bow, the venue will be just ahead on your right.

UBER/TAXI
You can direct Ubers/Lyfts/cabs directly to the Sanctuary (851 Main Street) for pickup/drop-off in front of the venue. For Uber/Lyft, if two pickup/drop-off location options appear, select the one that says "Near the Sanctuary".

DRIVING
We encourage taking public transit or Uber/Lyft, but if you're driving in, you'll want to take the Roosevelt Island Bridge over from Astoria, Queens directly to the venue (851 Main Street). The Sanctuary staff will direct you to parking, either at the venue or a parking lot located very nearby.

Rosa's is a private event space in Williamsburg, BK. You can spot it on Metropolitan Avenue near Havemeyer Street by its antique wooden facade (see link for picture!) PUBLIC TRANSIT: Take the L to Bedford or Lorimer Street, or the G to Metropolitan Ave. It's about a 5 minute walk from both stations! You can also take the M to Marcy Ave, but it's about an 11 minute walk. UBER/LYFT: 386 Metropolitan Avenue in BK should take you right there. DRIVING: There is free street parking all around the area, though not directly in front of the venue (until after 7 PM) - but finding parking in the city can sometimes be challenging! From the venue: "There are some nearby garages, but we have found it difficult to reserve spots with them advance. 'Spot Angels' is a great tool to find parking in the area."
