Kindly respond by April 28th, if possible! We know it’s a tight turnaround, and truly appreciate you getting back to us so we can plan (and party) accordingly.
The Sanctuary is on the north end of Roosevelt Island, just next to the Octagon residential buildings. You can get there by tram, train or car - for detailed instructions, see the "Travel" page!
Doors will open at 4, and the ceremony will start at 4:30.
Wedding dress code: Cocktail attire. A cocktail dress or dressy jumpsuit is perfect! Wear a snazzy suit, or ditch the jacket. We don't want dress code to be stressful, so wear whatever makes you feel fabulous (and that you can dance in) and feel free to reach out with any questions. Welcome drinks dress code: Anything goes, from shorts and flip flops to a sundress and heels! Have fun :) We also recommend bringing a light shawl or jacket both evenings - the end of May in the city is usually warm, but The Sanctuary is right on the water so it could get a bit breezy.
While we love little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration! Please feel free reach out if this presents any difficulties.
Absolutely! You can either let us know when you RSVP or email us directly at lizziedaniel2025@gmail.com, and we’ll do our best to accommodate any dietary needs or allergies. We want everyone to feel comfortable and well-fed.
Yes! Tycho is the Best Boy and will be present for the ceremony and cocktail hour. If you're a dog person, be ready to give him endless pets and attention - he loves meeting new people!
Rosa's is a private event space in Williamsburg, BK - you can spot it on Metropolitan Avenue by its antique wooden facade. The closest subway lines are the L or G trains. We recommend taking the subway or an Uber/Lyft, as parking in Williamsburg can be tricky, but there are several garages and free street parking (if you can find it!) available. See the "Travel" page for more details!
Thank you for thinking of us! We’re registered through Zola, Etsy, and Amazon with a mix of items and a few cash funds for our honeymoon and new apartment. You can find everything on the "Registry" page of this website.
We’ve reserved a few hotel blocks that are convenient to the venue - you’ll find details on the "Hotels" page. That said, feel free to stay anywhere in the city that works best for you! Long Island City offers the easiest access - by car or public transit - to both the welcome drinks and the ceremony. If you’d prefer to stay in Manhattan, we recommend Midtown East or the Upper East Side, as Roosevelt Island sits right in the East River between Manhattan and Queens. That said, anywhere along the F train line will take you directly to Roosevelt Island! More details about transit options are also listed on the Travel page.
Yes! There will be some parking available directly at the venue, and additional overflow parking available nearby. There is also the Motorgate garage on the island available for longer term parking.
