Everything will take place outside, from the ceremony to the dancing. The weather should be gorgeous, but you may want a jacket or shawl in case it starts to cool down. The ground is made of fake grass, so if you're wearing heels, you won't sink into the grass.
We have 2 shuttles picking up guests from the DoubleTree hotel in Campbell. Each shuttle fits around 55 people. The first shuttle will leave the hotel at 4pm. The second will leave at 5pm. The shuttles will also drop guests back at the DoubleTree at the end of the night.
If you miss the shuttle, grab a cab, Lyft, or Uber to the venue. It's about a 20-minute drive. You can also drive yourself and park in the venue's parking lot overnight. Be sure to get your car by 9:30am the following morning.
Garden chic (yes, that's a real thing). IE: not crazy formal, but no shorts or jeans please. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=garden%20chic
Yep! We're ready for those knuckleheads. There is a play structure at the venue, along with a few tables set up with paper and crayons. We're also providing bags for all the kids with awesome goodies inside. All kids will sit with their parents during dinner. After dinner, two of Kera's cousins have agreed to babysit. Their names are Katie and Emma, and they are wonderful.
The after party is happening at Khartoum Bar in Campbell, about a 7-minute drive from the hotel. After the wedding, at least one shuttle will make a stop at the bar before continuing on to the hotel. All are welcome! Bring the kids! (Don't really bring the kids)
