During one fateful night on a felluca, drifting across the Nile, Daniel and Kayla first felt a spark. The two friends and colleagues realized there might be something special between them and it didn't take long for both of them to dive head first into their relationship. Despite the 3000 or so kilometers separating their Canadian homes, fate and circumstance conspired to keep Daniel and Kayla together. After moving to Russia together for their new jobs, and despite Kayla's unintentional efforts to ward off their union, Daniel put a ring on it on the isle of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands last December. Now, Kayla and Daniel are wildly excited to have all their dearest friends and family come celebrate their marriage in Kelowna.
