A beautiful historical landmark. Daniel and I walked the Monticello trail once and loved it! There are tours, a museum & even a café!
One of the best places to visit on a beautiful day. Go apple picking, enjoy an apple cider donut, a walk through the country store, and a panoramic view. A Bold Rock Cidery is also located here, which is another local favorite! A must-try if you haven't already! (P.S - September is also a great month for apple picking!)
Daniel and I shared our first bottle of wine together here (we recommend the Merlot)! Easily our favorite winery for the atmosphere, selection, & memories!
A beautiful winery with a great selection! Daniel and I love this place! You can even reserve a cute little igloo for you and your party!
We have yet to visit this brewery but it is on our list of to-do's! Devils Backbone is a local fan-favorite & a go-to for Daniel. He recommends the Vienna Lager!
Daniel and I spent a weekend in Charlottesville and we ended up having breakfast at this spot two days in a row because it was just. that. good!
We had dinner here during a weekend in Charlottesville and it was delicious! This spot has a historic feel and feels so cozy!
Daniel and I hiked this right after a snowfall and we still think about how beautiful it was! The hike itself is moderately challenging, and can be an out & back or a scenic 2.5 mile loop. The trail consists of a stair incline along a beautiful waterfall. Highly recommend!!
One of the first hikes Daniel and I decided to take on & we loved it. A moderately challenging 4.3 mile loop hike. This hike can be done in two routes, one of the routes being more strenuous but has a quicker payoff.
On our to-do list of sights to see! This overlook allows you to drive right up to the most beautiful view, with no hiking involved!
