One rainy night in Downtown, Houston on June 10th, 2023, we crossed paths. We were both invited to celebrate a friend's birthday. That night, Daniel hesitated going. During his hesitation he was outside of a bar in downtown called Fabian's looking onto the street and waiting on his friends. At the same time Julieta was crossing the street on her way to Fabian's with her friend. Julieta's dress caught Daniel's attention. He says it sparkled like a bright star. As Julieta formed in line to go into the bar, Daniel stood behind her almost wanting to offer to pay her cover however he didn't. Julieta had not seen Daniel yet. The night went on and we were both enjoying the night. Daniel came across Julieta again on the dance floor and thought about asking her to dance pero se le dormio el gallo and someone beat him to it! LOL. He saw her again standing at the bar all alone on his way to the restroom. He told himself that if when he came back from the restroom she was still standing alone he would go talk to her. And so it happened that when he came back she was still standing alone. He hesitated but remembered he told himself he would talk to her. Daniel said hello and offered to buy Julieta a drink however she kindly declined as she was the designated driver for the night. He then offered her an orange juice and she accepted it (ni se lo tome lol). We spent the rest of the night together, talking, dancing, and getting tacos. Daniel hesitated asking for Julieta's number but he knew if he did not ask for her number he may never see her again, so at the very last second of their night together he asked for her number. This is when our love story began!
