Yes, you will need a passport to enter the USA. We recommend getting a global entry card that will reduce the time to cross the boarder. You can find it here: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/global-entry/how-apply
Yes, we are providing a limited number of seats on a shuttle Friday, September 16th from San Diego/Tijuana to our wedding venue and a return trip on Sunday, September 18th. Be sure to contact your cell phone carrier for international use. Majority of cell phone carriers include free calls/texts and data in Mexico. You will be able to use a debit/credit card at almost any location in Mexico. We recommend you notify your bank and credit card company that you will be traveling to Mexico so they do not place a hold on your account.
Yes! You will be able to use your USA cash anywhere in Mexico. If you prefer, you can always exchange cash for Mexican pesos but you do not need pesos for this trip. If you are driving yourself, you will need around ~$10-15 USD each way to pay for the toll roads.
Although we would love your kids to come, this will be an adult only wedding and reception.
No, we recommend bottled water throughout your trip.
In order to keep our friends and family safe, we ask that you please be fully vaccinated prior to attending our wedding. If you are not vaccinated then we please ask that you obtain a negative COVID test 72 hours in advance. The health of our guests is something that is important to us. We truly appreciate your help keeping our at risk family and friends safe during our special day. Thank you!
Safety is our top priority for our wedding. We are in constant communication with Hotel Coral y Marina, transportation services, and our wedding planner – who all reside in Mexico. Hotel Coral y Marina has had several American based weddings over the past couple of weekends. Since this is the same weekend as the Baja 400, there will be thousands of Americans in Ensenada that weekend for the race.
