On November 7th, 2013 Jessica’s Mom bought tickets to go to the BellyUp in Solana Beach for the Macy Gray concert to have a fun mother-daughter night out. Coincidentally, Daniel’s parents invited Daniel and his friend Michael to go to the same concert. A few drinks later, Daniel somehow spotted Jessica in the crowd and asked her to dance. After showing off his dance moves to “I Try”, Daniel tried to get Jessica’s phone number and was successful. You’d think the rest is history, but that would be far too simple. After a few unsuccessful attempts to hang out, Jessica and Daniel lost touch...

Six months later, Jessica made a Tinder profile for fun with her best friend. Soon into swiping, one of her matches turned out to be Daniel. Jessica just knew Daniel had no idea he had liked the profile of a girl whose phone number he already had. After a couple messages back and forth, Daniel asked Jessica on their first date. That first date was the (second) start to falling for each other, and everyone around them could see it too. Over the next several years, they traveled the world, maintained a long distance relationship, supported each other through Graduate degrees, moved in together, became dog parents, and bought their first home. Now, they are excited to finally say their I Dos with their friends and family in one of Jessica and Daniel’s favorite places to go together, Ensenada, Mexico.
