We met as coworkers while both working as registered nurses back in 2013. Our friendship grew over the next few years as we encouraged each other in our careers and personal endeavors. After leaning on each other for support during some big changes in both of our lives, we realized there was something really special between us. Suddenly, we found everything we were looking for was in each other. We decided to give "us" a try, and it was the best decision we could have ever made. Our engagement took place in San Diego, California on September 3, 2018. Jenee went to a girls brunch (who were all in on the plan) and was invited to walk along the cliffs at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park afterwards. Daniel hid behind a bush and then surprised Jenee as she walked by. He got down on one knee, and after many tears Jenee said yes. We are SO excited to invite you to our destination wedding which will be held in New Zealand. We picked this location because Daniel and I wanted to create an intimate yet adventurous experience for our guests and ourselves for our special day. New Zealand is rumored to be the most beautiful place on earth, so it sounded like the perfect place for the start of our happily-ever-after. It goes without saying that the ultimate gift is to have you there with us. We hope you will be able to join us abroad and celebrate our union as husband and wife (and tack on a fantastic vacation as well). If you are interested and/or have a desire to attend in person, we are happy to assist by providing a list of places to stay and things to do around the Queenstown area (see above tabs)! We highly recommend taking the time to explore the whole country and take advantage, as your schedule permits. We want you to be a part of our story in whatever capacity life allows. For those unable to personally attend, we hope to provide everyone an opportunity to be included by live-stream or video (in case we don't have internet capabilities) of the ceremony!
