Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a state park parking lot (requires payment) and a short walk uphill to the venue. You cannot park at the venue itself. We will be providing vans from the Overleaf Lodge, to the venue, and back to the Overleaf. Please check back for more details!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adults only party :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If the invitation was only addressed to you, we ask that you bring yourself and no extra guests to the wedding.

Question

What is coastal chic?

Answer

It’s not a particularly formal dress code — no gowns or tuxedos needed here — and so guests can focus more on color and fabric than length. This aesthetic is all about calming pastel hues; think sea green, sky blue, the soft pinks and reds found in the sunrise and sunsets, as well as lush florals and punchy prints. Opt for soft fabrics, big hats, dressy wide-legged pants, mid-length dresses and anything involving lace or linen. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/15/style/wedding-guest-dress-code.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

The weather on the Oregon Coast in the summer is nice and sunny with lots of wind :) Average temperatures in August range from 58-65 degrees Fahrenheit (14-18 degrees Celsius). While summer clothes are comfortable in this weather, make sure to bring layers for the wind and especially at night when it gets chillier.
