Where it began: Gabby and Daniel

We first met in high school thanks to a little matchmaking magic from my twin sister and her now-husband. It all started with a casual introduction, but little did we know we were stepping into something life-changing. Our first real “hangout” was anything but ordinary: cliff jumping in Ithaca, full of laughter, nerves, and adrenaline. Afterward, we spent time at my family’s cottage on Cayuga Lake — soaking up the sun, making memories, and laying the foundation for something that would turn out to be lifelong. From that point on, everything just… clicked. What began as two teenagers just going with the flow turned into a bond built on years of shared adventures, big dreams, and unwavering support. Through hockey games, graduations, career changes, long days, and beautiful new chapters, we’ve always stood side by side — cheering each other on, growing together, and finding home in one another. By the time we say “I do,” we’ll have spent 10 going on 11 incredible years together. We are very excited to move into our chapter of marriage, and to have all of the people we love supporting us means the world to us.

The Proposal

8/20/2024

On our nine-year anniversary, Daniel proposed in the most intimate way — in our new home, surrounded by the love and support of our family, making the moment feel both deeply personal and joyfully celebrated.

The Wedding Day

07/10/2026

We will be getting married on July 10th, 2026. We didn't want just to get married on any old day; we wanted to find meaning in the day we chose. During our first visit to the venue, they offered July 10th, which turned out to be Daniel's grandparents' anniversary. We knew this date would be nothing short of exceptional. We are grateful to be able to carry our love for each other into a day that means so much already.
