If you do the Green Sand Beach, the Volcano National Park is not too far from here. There is a restaurant and lava tubes you can explore as well.

Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park

Its in the town of Hilo, well worth the visit if you are on that side of the island.

Lyman Museum & Mission House

We took a tour of this small plantation in Kona and highly recommend. Great staff and had a really interesting tea. Be sure to check tour times before arriving.
