Flight
Boise Airport is the closest airport to the festivities. It's not an international airport, but there are connecting flights from all over the US. Usually we fly to Seattle and then to Boise. To skip the immigration queues, download the Mobile Passport Control ("CBP MPC") app. You'll be able to hire a car at the airport as well, if needed. If the idea of staying in the mountains sounds too rustic. For our friends and family travelling from the UK that don't fancy having a go driving in the Wild West, we will try our best to coordinate carpools and pick ups to and from Boise for flights.
Hotel
For our friends and family travelling from the UK, we will have some glamping options available. If sleeping under the stars and crawling right into bed after many celebratory drinks sounds appealing to you, please feel free to join us camping! Bring your tent or hammock, sleeping bag, and whatever else you need along with you. We should have space for small camping trailers/vans as well.
Hotel
The Springs Resort offers lodging at Inn the Pines. Located on Highway 21, just a 3 minute drive to the venue. They have discounted springs admission for hotel guests which is a bonus!
Hotel
This hotel is a 5 minute drive from the venue down Highway 21 in Idaho City. It is next to the Goldmine bar/saloon which has local food and live music on the weekends! There is also the Idaho City Hotel and Prospector Hotel in Idaho City.
Travel Note
If you want to share accommodation with a group, I recommend renting a large cabin on Airbnb. There are a few very cute airbnbs around Idaho City x
Travel Note
The nearest big city is Boise, which has plenty of hotel and Airbnb options. It is a 40- 60 minute drive up the beautifully scenic Ponderosa Pine Scenic Byway (Highway 21) to the ceremony/reception..
