Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Though you know we adore your little ones, we ask for this to be a kid free wedding. Our two will be there due to them being in the wedding party. We appreciate you making arrangements with this advanced notice so you can celebrate with us. Thank you for understanding.

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

Though we appreciate so many wanting to spend this big day with us, we have a cap on the amount of loved ones that we can invite. The list has to be limited to guests and their significant others (as it stands at the time of invitations being sent).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location and parking is free. The parking lot right outside of the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not necessarily, come dressed too impress as long as it’s not jeans and a t-shirt. It’s not required but the wedding is 1940s themed so if you’d like you can come in that decade attire. But again it’s not required.

If I am a couple minutes late can I still come into the ceremony?

Answer

No, we would prefer the ceremony go uninterrupted. Doors open at 5pm and the ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. So if you are not seated in the ceremony room by 5:30pm the doors will remain closed until cocktail hour begins. Thank you for planning ahead according to traffic etc to be there on time, it is downtown on a Friday so traffic should be expected.

Will there be open bar?

Answer

No open bar, our budget simply wouldn’t permit it. You may purchase your own drinks with cash or card.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No, although we love your excitement that you share with us in wanting to capture the moment on our big day. We have professional photographers who will be capturing the ceremony, and we don’t want photos with peoples phones up in the air taking pictures. We just want you to be present and in the moment with us celebrating our union. Thank you for understanding.
