We are getting married and would love to share this special occasion with you. We have chosen to get married at the beautiful tropical Mission Beach in Queensland on Wednesday 19th August 2020. We have created this website to provide you with all the wedding details and also to help those with accommodation ideas and provide some information on the local area as it is a long way from home. The Ceremony will be held at CASTAWAYS at approximately TIME WERE READY with the reception to follow inside the Marquee at Castaways Beach Resort.

For those who do not know much about either of us, Carys is a driven woman with a passion for travel - which is how we have ended up in Australia! Without her guiding ways who knows where we would be. Dan did the hard work of the sponsorship to keep us here but he still doesn't do enough...... We met way back when: We were in the same Uni - but never crossed paths, Our friend groups partied together - but we never crossed paths, Carys got warned to stay away from the charm of Dan who had no clue he was even charming :) But our lives intertwined and our adventure began, We planted roots in Cairns and it became our home away from home, This is where Dan proposed, which was meant to be in the middle of Paronella Park, But it didn't quite turn out as planned as Carys (who fell a few days previously) put her foot in it - Literally, A further secret proposal planned overlooking the city at night, was ruined by backpackers, Carys eventually got to say "YES" on our own private rooftop view over the city, It was that or Dan was back in work and returning the ring. But here we are, looking forward to the future together.
