What should I wear to look fabulous (and feel my best) for the beachside festivities?
Answer
Cocktail-ish Attire: Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous! Whether it’s a cocktail dress, jumpsuit, suit, or jacket and slacks, tie or no tie, it’s all about comfort and fun. Weather permitting, most of the day will be outside. The ceremony will be on the beach, and cocktail hour and the reception will be on the grass. If you’re planning on wearing heels, we suggest a block heel or wedge, but feel free to kick off your shoes and go barefoot—sand between the toes is always encouraged!

What will the weather be like in October on the Cape?
Answer
Cape Cod in October can be a little unpredictable—sunny with a side of crisp ocean breeze! Think layers, just in case. Definitely bring a cozy sweatshirt or sweater for Friday night and the bonfire on Saturday. It’s always a good idea to check the forecast a few days before, but we promise the views and the vows will be perfect no matter what!

How the heck do I get to Truro?
Answer
There are several ways to get to Truro: 1) Fly to Boston Logan International Airport and take a 90-minute fast ferry to Provincetown. Kalmar Village is a 10 minute cab or uber ride from Provincetown. 2) Fly to Boston Logan International Airport and connect to Provincetown Municipal Airport on a Cape Air flight. 3) Fly into Boston Logan International Airport and rent a car. Truro is a two hour and fifteen minute drive from Boston. 4) Fly into Cape Cod Gateway Airport and rent a car. This airport is about an hour drive to Truro. 5) Fly into Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport. This airport is about a two hour and fifteen minute drive to Truro. How can I reserve a beach cottage to stay onsite with everyone?

Kalmar Village features 55 accommodations in one-bedroom, two bedroom, and efficiency studio configurations. We'd love for all of our guests to stay on site, the entire venue is reserved for our wedding party. Booking details will be available soon!
