Things To Do

Waterville Valley has its own town square with shopping, a grocery/country store, a cafe, an arcade and restaurants. It is also an open carry town so you can wander the town with a beer in hand!

Freedom Pass

If you booked a Waterville Valley stay (Snowy Owl Inn, Blackbear Lodge or Golden Eagle Lodge), you can access to most of the activities Waterville offers and the White Mountain Athletic Club which does have an indoor pool. Unfortunately, golf is NOT included in this pass.

We know some of you will be looking for this. Recommend reserving tee time in advance and price to play can be found on their website.

Mt Tecumseh Trailhead (Waterville Valley Ski Resort)

Ski Area Road, Thornton, NH 03223
, (603) 536-6100

The smallest of the 48 4,000 footers (and the most important to us!). This is the summit we will be getting married at! Deemed the trail of endless stairs by many.

One Love Brewery

25 South Mountain Drive, Lincoln, NH 03251
, (603) 745-7290

Great beer, good food. Cool atmosphere.

Woodstock Inn Brewery

135 Main Street, Woodstock, NH 03262
, (603) 745-3951

REALLY good food and beer. Whole inn is super neat to walk around in.

Welch-Dickey Trailhead

Orris Road, Thornton, NH 03285
, (603) 536-6100

One of our favorite hikes and one of the firsts we did together. Deceivingly difficult in spots, but it's a relatively short hike with stunning views.

Black Mtn. Burger Co.

264 Main Street, Lincoln, NH 03251
, (603) 745-3444

The BEST burgers. Plus, the staff are all really knowledgeable about the area and hiking.
