The ceremony will start at 4:30. When you park at the ranch, our awesome ushers (two of our nephews, Truman Langino and Liam Gahan) will direct you to the ceremony. There will be a golf cart to assist anyone who needs it. After the ceremony, passed appetizers and beverages (open bar, mocktails, water, whatever you prefer!) will be served while the wedding party and family take photos. Weather permitting, this will be outside as the sun goes down. Dinner will be buffet style in the barn after the cocktail hour. There will be meat, chicken, fish, and vegetarian options available. Bring your appetite, De La Vega is catering. They are one of our favorite local DeLand restaurants, and we look forward to sharing their food with you! Dancing, cake, and good company until they kick us out at 11.
Yes! If we included your family on the invitation, that included your children. We will have 1 or 2 babysitters (depending how many kids are rsvp'd as coming) for the young ones. Babies and toddlers will be with babysitters during the ceremony. If you want them back after, feel free. If not, the babysitters will be sticking around all night so you can have a break to eat, dance, etc. For kids that are old enough to need their own seats and serve themselves at the buffet, let us know if you'd prefer to have them seated with you or at a kids table. There should be enough kids aged 7-13ish to fill a kids table if that's everyone's preference.
Cocktail attire, please. December in Florida can be really unpredictable so you may need a jacket or sweater, or not. Bring your dancing shoes :)
