We're getting married!

A little over ten years ago, Dan was splitting his time between working at a dropzone in Lake Wales and instructing at iFly Orlando. Ashlee had just discovered a love of skydiving after doing her first tandem skydive in New Zealand. She arrived at Lake Wales to get her skydiving license and was introduced to Dan by a new friend who had taken her under her wing. After struggling a little during her course, it was gently suggested that Ashlee get additional coaching in the wind tunnel before her next jump. Not wasting any time, Ashlee went to the tunnel that night to get coaching from Dan. Dan's patience and advice laid a solid foundation for Ashlee's progression in skydiving, and for the start of a meaningful friendship. Eight months later, Dan introduced Ashlee to his family, and they made it official. Since then, they've become cat parents to Millie and Finn, fostered and released 19 orphaned squirrels and 2 opossums, built their forever home, grown a business together, traveled to 14 countries (and counting), shared thousands of skydives, made countless memories with friends and family, and grown more in love every day. Though both Dan and Ashlee had sworn they'd never make it legal, on their ninth anniversary, Dan proposed. It was magical, sweet, and super surprising (to Ashlee, most of all). They're so excited to celebrate their love with all of their favorite people.
