Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

**Dress Code: Mountain Garden Formal** We invite you to embrace garden formal attire inspired by the season and our beautiful mountain landscape with rich colors, florals, and patterns that reflect the natural surroundings. Midi and maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, sport coats, dress shirts, and other elevated wedding wear are all perfect choices. Since our ceremony takes place outdoors in the Mount Baker area, we recommend selecting footwear suited for uneven terrain and bringing a layer to stay comfortable in the cooler mountain temperatures.

Question

Do I need hiking boots?

Answer

No hiking boots required! Just choose shoes you’re comfortable walking in on natural terrain.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August evenings near Mount Baker are typically mild and comfortable, with temperatures often in the 50s to 60s. Mountain weather can change quickly, and it may feel cooler after sunset or if clouds and wind move in. We recommend bringing a light jacket, sweater, shawl, or other layer for the evening.
