Located in the heart of downtown Boulder, Pearl Street Mall is a lively, pedestrian-only stretch filled with local shops, restaurants, street performers, and art. Some of our favorite restaurants on Pearl Street include Japango, Rosetta Hall, Pizzeria Alberico, West End Tavern, Sforno Trattoria Romana, Salt, Avanti F&B, and Centro... but you really can't go wrong!
Located high above Boulder along Flagstaff Road, Lost Gulch Overlook offers 360-degree views of the mountains (that are especially beautiful at sunset). It’s an easy drive from town and a favorite spot for photos, picnics, or simply taking in Boulder's beauty. This is along the same road as Greystone Castle, so you will actually pass it on your way to the venue!
Just 20 minutes from downtown Boulder, Eldorado Canyon is a stunning pocket of nature famous for its towering golden sandstone cliffs and crystal-clear South Boulder Creek. The park is a world-class rock climbing destination, but there are scenic hiking trails for all levels, from easy riverside strolls to steeper paths with panoramic views. It’s a great way to experience Colorado’s beauty without venturing too far from town. You can use AllTrails to find a hike.
A true Boulder classic! It’s earned accolades like 'Best Breakfast Hole-in-the-Wall in Colorado', 'Best Hash Browns', and 'Best Breakfast for the Slightly Hungover'. Their motto says it all: “890 square feet of reality, surrounded by Boulder.” If it is your first time visiting, make sure to let them know ;)
One of Boulder’s most unique landmarks, the Dushanbe Teahouse is a vibrant, hand-crafted building that was a gift from Boulder’s sister city in Tajikistan. Every inch is covered in colorful carvings and ornate tilework, all made by artisans in Dushanbe and reassembled in Boulder. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy a pot of tea or a globally inspired meal.
Just under an hour and a half from Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park is the perfect place to experience Colorado's scenery! There are endless hikes you can find on AllTrails, or you can take a scenic drive on Trail Ridge Road. You will likely need a timed entry pass depending on the time of day you are planning on visiting. We took our engagement photos here :)
