Can I drive myself to the Greystone Castle?

Answer

No, you can not drive to the Greystone Castle. This is for the safety of our guests since the venue is up a steep mountain road. Additionally, there is no parking at the venue. We will be providing shuttle services from the Limelight Hotel to the venue before the wedding, and back down the mountain to the Limelight at the end of the night. If you are not staying at the Limelight, you can drive or Uber/Lyft to the Limelight to catch the shuttle. Timing for the shuttles will be posted as soon as possible!

I am not staying at the Limelight. Where should I park to catch the shuttle to Greystone Castle?

Answer

For guests coming to the hotel for the shuttle that are not staying there, you can pay to park in the parking garage which offers hourly parking as well as day parking for $20/day. You can park on the street, but the street parking by the hotel is also paid parking. For free street parking, you would have to cross University Boulevard. Guest can also use the valet at the hotel which is $40/day.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail Attire! Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and jackets & slacks.

Will the ceremony be held outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will be held outdoors in a mountain meadow, and the reception will be held under a tent. Therefore, we would recommend that ladies avoid wearing stilettos or wear heel protectors. Also, it is about 10 degrees cooler up at the venue than it is in downtown Boulder, so keep that in mind! You might want to bring something in case it gets chilly when the sun goes down.
