Where is the venue located? Are all events at the same location?

Answer

The wedding will take place at Club Atwater, located at 3505 Atwater Avenue, Montreal, QC. Both the ceremony and reception will be held there, so there’s no need to travel between locations.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00PM. Please arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time to get settled and find parking. The ceremony will start promptly, so arriving early is the best way to ensure you don’t miss a moment. Our ceremony, cocktail, and reception will all be held at the same venue, so you won't need to travel anywhere else. Kindly refer to the 'schedule' section of our website for more details about the flow of our wedding day.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Club Atwater does not offer valet service and does not have a parking lot, but there are several nearby options for parking. Street parking is available around the venue, especially on Atwater Avenue and surrounding side streets, though spaces may be limited depending on the time of day. We recommend arriving a bit early to find a spot. If you'd prefer garage parking, here are a few options within walking distance. Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. We’d love for guests to dress in formal attire. While black tie is not required, we’re celebrating in a beautiful space and would love everyone to dress to match the occasion. Think of it as a day to feel your best and look great! We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, ivory, or anything that closely resembles white, including floral or patterned outfits with a white base or colours that would photograph as white. We also ask that guests avoid light blue and yellow, as it’s the colour our wedding party will be wearing. If you’re unsure or have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Is the venue accessible for guests with limited mobility?

Answer

Yes! While the ceremony and reception are held on the second floor of Club Atwater, there are both stairs and an elevator available for guest use. If you or someone in your group requires the elevator, the concierge at the front desk and our wedding coordinator will be happy to assist and guide you to it. We want all our guests to feel comfortable and supported throughout the celebration.

Can I bring a guest or my child?

Answer

Your invitation to our wedding will indicate whether a plus-one has been included. Due to limited venue space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation, and we truly appreciate your understanding in respecting this. As for children, we completely understand that little ones are a big part of your lives. While we’re happy to welcome your tiny guests, we kindly encourage parents to enjoy a child-free evening if possible. We hope it gives you a chance to fully relax, celebrate, and soak in the night with us.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. Please feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception. We’ll also have a photobooth set up during the reception for some fun keepsakes. We’ll also be sharing a QR code where you can upload and view photos from the day. We’d love to see the celebration from your perspective, so keep an eye out for that on the day. The code will be provided shortly —stay tuned!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be a full open bar during the cocktail hour and reception, including signature drinks that represent the couple.

I have a food allergy/dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We want all our guests to feel comfortable and well taken care of. When you RSVP, you’ll be able to select your main course (i.e., meat, fish, or vegetarian) and note any allergies or dietary restrictions. We’ll do our best to ensure a meal is prepared that suits your needs.

Answer

We feel truly lucky to have everything we need for this chapter of our lives. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. If you wish to give a gift, a contribution toward our future together would be truly appreciated. Thank you for celebrating this special moment with us.
