Travel Note
Before you embark on this journey with us, please ensure that your passport has at least six months of validity from the date of your return. This is standard requirement for many countries, and we wouldn't want any of our loved ones to face travel issues. A visitor visa (or “Tourist Card”) is required to be purchased for $10 USD per person when going through immigration at any border crossing or international airport. Please bring exact change.
Flight
For your convenience, we recommend flying directly into Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua. From this airport, the travel time to Rancho Santana or the Tola Rivas area is approximately 2 hours. This will provide the most direct route to our wedding venue. The Managua airport offers a fast-track/VIP service that can significantly speed up the process of exiting the airport. For more details on this service, including rates and how to book, you can ask the events team for help.
Flight
There are a couple of options for airports. Liberia airport in Costa Rica has lots of flights and is a popular way of getting into Nicaragua. There are shuttles available from Liberia to Rancho Santana or Ubers to the border. Also, direct flights from Miami to Managua. Travel Note
Whether you arrive into MGA or LIR, Rancho Santana offers and operates a private shuttle service that will transport you directly from either airport to the resort. Pricing for the RS shuttle service is as follows: From MGA (148km; 2.5hrs): SUV (1-3 ppl) - $225 + Taxes VAN (4-9 ppl) - $290 + Taxes VAN (10-16 ppl) - $450 + Taxes From LIR (162km; 4hrs): SUV (1-3 ppl) - $320 + Taxes VAN (4-9 ppl) - $370 + Taxes VAN (10-16 ppl) - $700 + Taxes Once you have booked your flights, click the below link (view) and input your travel details and The Ranch will pair you in a shuttle with our other guests arriving around the same time .
