Our Story

June 2019-We were at a summer camp with our youth group. This was the summer before our junior year of high school and it was also when I started to develop feelings for Dani. -J

October 2019-This picture was taken the day before Josh asked me to be his girlfriend. We were at youth group, and I remember feeling so nervous when people saw us talking together!-D

December 2019- Our families went to see a movie. I have no idea what movie because all I could think was how I could talk to Abel. As we were leaving I finally asked for permission to date Dani.-J

January 2020- On our first date, Josh took me to the zoo! He remembered that I thought it was a cute first date idea. Always the best listener.-D

November 2020-The time of masks! We celebrated our one year anniversary at the Frost Museum during Covid. The Frost Science Museum became 10x more fun when we were going through it together.-J

November 2021-On our second anniversary, we went to a candlelight concert based on movie soundtracks. If you know me, movie soundtracks are some of my favorite things ever. This night was amazing!-D

November 2022-On our third anniversary, we did a scavenger hunt! It ended with a picnic at a park. I loved going through different places with Dani. New places, food and Dani. All that's needed.-J

April 2023- One of the sweetest parts of our relationship has been being part of PRC, our church, together. On this day, Josh became a member, and I was so proud. I love serving the Lord with him!-D

November 2023-On our fourth anniversary, we went to a cool museum! This picture was in a pretty room filled with mirrors! This was my favorite room. Everywhere I looked, I saw Dani!-J

November 2024-No surprise that this is my favorite date of all! We did a day trip to Epcot for our fifth anniversary, and enjoyed the Food &Wine Festival. -D

July 2025- PROPOSAL! So many nerves! Dani had figured out I was proposing two days before. . . somehow. I had to change up my plans a little to try and throw her off! I loved every part of that day.-J

August 2025-My best friend Dani took our engagement pictures, and this one has my heart. It captures the goofiness of those silly teenage kids we once were that's still in us deep down. -D

November 2025-A full circle! We went to the zoo to celebrate our last anniversary before we got married. It was just as fun as the first time!-J
