FAQs

Question

How do we get to and from the welcome drinks, rehearsal dinner, and wedding?

Answer

No need to worry about logistics—we’ll have transportation, to and from the Hyatt Regency Lisle, sorted for you! See details for specific events below.

Question

What time will transportation be for the ceremony?

Answer

Buses will be leaving the Hyatt Regency Lisle at 3:45. If you happen to miss the bus, the venue is only a short Uber or Lyft down the road - our ceremony starts promptly at 4:30 pm so plan to arrive with enough time to settle in!

Question

What time will transportation be for Welcome Drinks?

Answer

A bus will depart from the Hyatt Regency Lisle at 7:30 and will circle back for one additional run to the Welcome Drinks venue after that. We will have buses taking guests back to the Hyatt at the end of the evening!

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Both! Our venue is a covered pavilion nestled in a beautiful arboretum. If the weather is on our side, we’ll have the sides open to soak in the fresh air and greenery. If Mother Nature decides to be dramatic (rain, wind, etc.), we’ll keep things cozy inside. Either way, it’ll be gorgeous!

Question

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Our rehearsal dinner is for those rehearsing (immediate family and bridal party). If you're traveling from out of town, we'd love to have you join us for welcome drinks later that evening. More details to come!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Enjoy the night off!

Question

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

MDW (Midway) or ORD (O’Hare)—whichever works best for you (or is cheaper)!

Question

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Formal attire
