Best Man
Oliver and I have only been friends since college, but personally it feels like I've known him much longer than that. Through our time at Ripon College and Theta Chi Fraternity, to him living with me at my parent's house, to our apartment together and now into our adult lives, I have had the privilege of having Oliver as one of my closest friends through our highest highs and lowest lows. Besides Shauna, he is who I consider my person and my life is better thanks to having him in it.
Maid of Honor
When Krista and I were little, we had an agreement that we would be the MOH for each other. Now this day is here and I can't imagine my wedding without her by my side. I'm lucky that agreement worked out, because she's pretty cool. I'm fortunate to have a sister who is also one of my very best friends in life.
Groomsman
The first of many "Dans" in the wedding party. (Personally I pushed for only "Dans" as groomsman, but abandoned that after many groomsman refused to change their names. Shame.) It's been many years since Dan and I met in Boy Scouts at age 12, and spent the next six years being referred to as "Dan Squared." Through many of life's transitions, knocked out teeth, and one foot almost chopped off (mine, ask Dan), I'm so lucky to say that our friendship is still as strong as it was back then.
Matron of Honor
Chy and I met in 8th grade and have gotten into plenty of trouble over the years. Since then, we've become more like sisters than like friends. From childhood best friends to being the godmother/auntie to her daughter and being each other's MOH, I know that Chy will continue to be there in all of life's moments big and small.
Groomsman
Vince and I became friends at Ripon College and bonded over our procrastination, particularly with history class homework. I thought I'd be the most excited for my wedding day, but I think Vince may actually be more excited than Shauna and I. He's ready to party on the day he's been preparing for for years. *For more great headshots like the one here, visit Vince’s LinkedIn! https://www.linkedin.com/in/vincentzingale
Bridesmaid
"Normalize loving your best friend so much that your partner feels uncomfortable." This quote sums up a lot of my relationship with Kate. Since our beginnings at Ripon College, Kate has become an integral part of life for Dan and I, and we can't imagine this day without her.
Groomsman
Shauna and I often argue over who staked claim to Christopher's friendship first. At this point, we've resolved to share his friendship equally. Shauna and I both started our friendship with Chris freshman year at Ripon College and he's been in our lives ever since.
Bridesmaid
Amanda (otherwise known as "Mumu") and I met at Ripon College her freshman year. Mumu is my sorority "little sister" although her friendship and wisdom have brought me guidance over the years. Mumu has continued to be a grounding presence during the wedding planning process and I'm excited to celebrate with her by my side.
Groomsman
Charlie and I spent most of our lives growing up in different states, but now that he’s in Milwaukee we get to see him and his wonderful girlfriend Jaime far more often! We’re so honored he can be a part of this special day with us! Whether you need a friend, a gaming partner, or generally an accomplice, Charlie is your guy.
Bridesmaid
Katie Anne and I became friends and sorority sisters at Ripon College. I knew instantly that she was someone who would always be in my life. In fact, we have old Facebook posts as evidence stating I need more heart to hearts with her in my life. I know to this day that she will always be there with her warm smile and kind words. I'm grateful to have her as a bridesmaid and friend!
Groomsman
If you ask my mother, she'll gladly tell the story of when I was a small child just before Emily was born, and I yelled 'I WANT A BUHDDAH!" Clearly, I didn't get my way...but all in all things worked out quite well. I was blessed with an amazing sister, and years later dozens of phenomenal fraternity brothers, but this is different. From the moment I met Adam we just clicked, and I'm so excited to add this brother to my family.
Bridesmaid
I remember when Emily graduated from Ripon College, I was so excited to have Emily in Milwaukee to hang out with. I didn't expect that she would eventually be upgrading from sorority sister to Sister-in-Law several years later. I look forward to having her officially in my family.
