Wedding Party

Although our ceremony looks different than originally planned, we would like to honor our closest friends who have had a major impact on us as individuals and as a couple. All of these people are on our team and will support us on our wedding day and throughout our marriage, either in person or from afar...

Sara Anne Gill

Maid of Honor

Sara Anne and Rebekah have been friends ever since they were born, just three days apart. They went to elementary school together, were neighbors for a time, and have maintained a long-distance best-friendship for almost 10 years. Sara Anne and Rebekah both have older brothers, and find in each other the sister they never had. Sara Anne will be traveling from New York City to stand next to Rebekah on the wedding day in their home state.

Justin Florey

Best Man

Daniel and Justin met in the 3rd grade on a bus to summer camp. With their shared love for God, Star Wars, Comics, and all things nerdy, they formed a strong bond that led them to hang out thes rest of that summer and the summers after. Justin has been one of Daniel's closest friends. Even since Daniel left San Diego, everytime they hang out it feels like no time has passed. Justin and his wife Natalie live in San Diego with their cute dog Deku. Justin will be traveling to join the wedding day as Daniel's Best man.

Sydney Bratton

Bridesmaid

Sydney and Rebekah met on the first day of gym class freshman year of high school and have been friends ever since. While Sydney and Rebekah are different in many ways (especially in height), they built their strong friendship on a shared sense of humor and numerous long, deep conversations in the driveway after curfew was over. Sydney will be supporting Rebekah on the wedding day virtually from their hometown of Little Rock where Sydney is the best first grade teacher, working on her Master's, and a busy dog mom of two puppies.

Taby Burman

Officiant and Groomswoman

Taby and Daniel met through their mutual friend Daniel Santos and because of him they developed a twin-like friendship. Taby and Daniel lived in Seattle and Spokane together. While working for two churches, they took road trips all over Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Canada, and (of course) California. These road trips gave Taby and Daniel the opportunity to have many conversations and car concerts and very little sleep. They were filled with adventure and having more coffee and fast food then any person should consume. Taby lives in San Diego with her wife Haley in their new home with Puggles Ringo. Taby will be the officiant at the wedding in AR.

Evan James

Bridesman

Evan and Rebekah became close friends in college after meeting in Spanish class. Their friendship was largely built on a mutual love for Mexican food (particularly white queso), which they shared on at least a weekly basis for most of college. They were next door neighbors for 2 years, traveled a lot together, and went to a many events together so they didn't have to show up alone. Their friendship has been a safe space for them to tackle all the ups and downs through college and now adulthood. Evan will be joining in on the wedding day virtually from Tulsa, OK in his new home!

Daniel Santos

Groomsman

Daniel and Daniel met when Daniel W and the best man's older brother, Stephen, went to a Padres game. On the way back they had car trouble and, as fate would have it, Daniel S would be the one to come and help. Daniel and Daniel bonded over their love of Switchfoot, Pop Punk, and photography. Other than sharing a first name, many things made their friendship easy from the start. Daniel S is the reason for Daniel W having the nickname "Fixe" and he is also introduced him to Leo and Taby. When the Daniels spend time together it is usually with their cameras, a greasy slice of pizza, and a cold beer on the beach. Daniel will be joining the wedding from central California where he lives with his wife, Sarai.

Kate Fagin

Bridesmaid

Kate and Rebekah met Freshman year of college in their dorm and initially connected on their love of photography, then realized they had a lot more in common than just that. Kate and Rebekah became close through their shared of love of adventure that makes them always up for whatever the other one wants to do. Kate is a nurse/hero helping new moms and Covid-19 patients and she just started grad school. She will be joining the wedding virtually from Tulsa with her husband, Drew.

Leonardo Miguel

Groomsman

Leo and Daniel met on a late summer night skate sesh at Mission Beach with Taby and Daniel S. Cracking jokes and sharing stories was the sort of of thing they would do. Both Leo and Daniel shared the experience of growing up fast as kids and bonded over the hardships from that. They shared road trips, adventures through Canada, and Daniel desperately trying to keep up with Leo when they went out drinking and always failing. Leo and his fiancée and their son will join virtually in their new house in San Diego.

Claire Lindstrom

Bridesmaid

Claire and Rebekah met freshman year of college when Claire was dating Evan's roommate, Max (her now husband). Claire has been a light in Rebekah's life because of her incredible positive attitude. They share many interests but the one that stands out is their love for travel, as they have traveled to 11 US states and 1 country together (and counting). They also take pride in their winning streak as Spades partners. Claire (and Max) will be joining the wedding from Ada, OK where they just moved!

Abby Davis

Groomswoman

Abby and Daniel are old high school friends and met each other at a school camp meant to examine our bises and develop people into leaders in the community. Abby and Daniel have almost always been a few hundred miles apart but still find a way to meet in the middle and reconnect like old times. Abby lives in Maryland and will be joining the wedding virtually with her fur babies.

Catherine Crain

Bridesmaid

Catherine "Rice Bowl" Crain and Rebekah met in their sorority in college (which may be shocking to some now). They initially connected over a shared love for the arts and worked together for a time in Tulsa's arts district. Catherine is a great friend because she is always ready to support Rebekah in whatever way she needs, whether that's a nugget of wisdom, a concert buddy, or an inside joke to take to the absolute extreme. She will be joining the wedding virtually from Chicago where she is in graduate school at the Art Institute.

Dylan Whitaker

Groomsman

Dylan is the little brother of Daniel (and a pain in his neck). They are seven years apart but are so similar, especially with their long, curly hair. Dylan just turned 18 and loves doing anything outside. This summer he got to spend time with Daniel and Rebekah in Austin for a whole month (lucky him). Dylan will be attending the wedding in Arkansas in October.

Bea Baker

Bridesmaid

Rebekah and Bea knew each other throughout college but their friendship really developed post-college as they navigated new adult life and all its challenges together. The past few years have been eventful (to say the least) and they have been there for each other throughout it all, usually in the form of long talks over wine and cheese. Bea also got engaged recently! She and her fiancé Tom will be joining the wedding virtually from Tulsa.

Anna & Lucy

Dog of Honor & Best Dog

Anna and Lucy are very excited that their humans are getting married and they will officially be sisters. This is the first wedding they have ever been in, but they are not nervous at all. The only thing Lucy is nervous about is the 9-hour car ride, but Anna is excited about that.
