Due to unforeseen circumstances as a result of COVID-19, we have decided to exchange vows in an intimate elopement ceremony in the Buffalo Wilderness. While we are disappointed we cannot have all our friends and family there, we feel it is the safest option for everyone involved and we look forward to a full celebration at a later date when we can do that safely.

Daniel and Rebekah initially connected on a dating app, but ended up meeting at a coffee shop concert they were both going to anyway on August 12, 2016. Daniel was new to Tulsa and asked Rebekah to go out for a beer after the show. They connected initially over a mutual love for photography, the outdoors, music, and dogs while drinking beer and eating fries at Fassler Hall. After a few weeks they started hanging out all the time, and though they aren't sure when they "officially" started dating, overtime they developed a deep relationship with each other where they felt safe and loved. Their relationship has withstood its fair share of challenges including short distance, long distance, and even longer distance, multiple job changes, a LOT of studying, and moving about 7 times in the middle of summer. But it has also been filled with the best moments, big and small - including graduating, moving to new cities, road trips and plane trips, grocery shopping, walking the dogs, spending time with family and friends, and watching The Office about a million times. 2020 has brought more changes and challenges than anyone expected but they have been so thankful to have each other through it. More important than anything else, 2020 will be the year they get married and it will always be the most memorable. Daniel and Rebekah have spent over a year of engagement preparing themselves for this next step moving into marriage and can't wait for the rest of their lives together.
