What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal/black-tie optional. Ladies can wear floor-length or midi formal dresses and gowns. Gentlemen can wear a dark suit or tuxedo. No jeans, please!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited and listed in your group on the RSVP page.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an age 10 and up event to ensure all guests, especially parents, can fully enjoy themselves. We hope this advanced notice means you are still able to join us for our big day! Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

While we won't have an open bar, we will be serving a selection of tasty, handcrafted cocktails. Each guest will be limited to 3 drinks to ensure everyone enjoys the evening responsibly and gets home safely.

What kind of food will there be at the wedding?

Answer

We take pride in making sure that the food is delicious for our guests on our special day. In addition to plenty of appetizers and desserts, we will have chicken and beef options for your entree. Please submit your meal selection when you RSVP.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, while the reception will take place indoors.

What happens if I miss the rsvp deadline?

Answer

We must give our final numbers to the venue in a timely manner. If you do not submit your RSVP by June 1, 2025, you will be marked down as "Not Attending". We will not be able to accommodate late RSVPs. If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate this in the RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

What are the lodging arrangements?

Answer

We have discounted rates available for our guests at hotels near the wedding venue with a shuttle service to and from the venue. You can find more information under the "Travel" tab. If you are staying in an AirBnb, we highly recommend staying within the El Poblado area.

Will you have shuttle services to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes. We will have shuttle stops at the hotels where we have discounted rates. If you would like to use this shuttle, please try to plan your hotel or AirBnB near one of these locations. More details coming soon.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means no photos! We kindly ask all guests to be completely present during this special time. Our hired professionals will be taking photos during the ceremony. Feel free to take photos after the ceremony is complete.

How do I get around the city?

Answer

You can use Uber or local taxis to get around. Please note that taxis only accept cash payments.

Do businesses accept debit/credit?

Answer

Yes. Although most businesses accept payment through card, we recommend bringing some cash to exchange.

Is there anything I need to do before my flight to Colombia?

Answer

Fill out the free immigration registration form on CheckMig Colombia up to 72 hours before your flight. The confirmation will be requested upon your arrival to Medellín. Visit https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/en to complete the form.

Is it safe in Medellín?

Answer

Yes. Although Medellín is generally safe, we encourage you to be highly aware of your surroundings at all times. Pickpocketing can be common, so be careful with your belongings and don't leave items like your cell phone out. * * * * * * * * *

¿Cuál es el código de vestimenta?

Answer

Nos encantaría que nuestros familiares y amigos se vistieran de gala para nuestro gran día. El código de vestimenta es formal/esmoquin opcional. Las damas pueden llevar vestidos largos y trajes formales o de corte midi. Los caballeros pueden llevar traje oscuro o esmoquin. ¡No jeans, por favor!

¿Puedo traer una cita?

Debido al espacio limitado, solo podemos acomodar aquellos invitados que aparecen en tu grupo en la página de ‘Confirmación de Asistencia’.

¿Los niños están invitados?

Answer

¡Amamos a tus hijos! Sin embargo, hemos decidido que nuestra boda será un evento para mayores de 10 años, para garantizar que todos los invitados, especialmente los padres, puedan disfrutar al máximo. ¡Esperamos que este aviso anticipado signifique que aún pueden acompañarnos en nuestro gran día! Tu comprensión significa mucho para nosotros y no podemos esperar para celebrar juntos.

¿Habrá barra libre?

Answer

Si bien no tendremos barra libre, estaremos sirviendo una selección de cócteles artesanales deliciosos. Cada invitado tendrá un límite de 3 cócteles para garantizar que todos disfruten de la velada de manera responsable y lleguen a casa sanos y salvos.

¿Qué tipo de comida habrá en la boda?

Answer

Queremos asegurarnos de que la comida sea deliciosa para nuestros invitados en un día tan especial. Además de una gran cantidad de aperitivos y postres, tendremos opciones de pollo y carne de res para el plato principal. Por favor, envía tu selección de comida junto con tu confirmación de asistencia.

¿La boda se realizará afuera o adentro?

Answer

¡Ambos! La ceremonia y la hora de cóctel tendrá lugar afuera, mientras que la recepción será adentro.

¿Qué sucede si no envío mi confirmación de asistencia a tiempo?

Answer

Debemos dar el numero exacto de invitados al salón de boda con tiempo. Si no envías tu confirmación de asistencia antes del 1 de Junio del 2025, lo entenderemos como “Que no asistiras". No podremos acomodar confirmaciones de asistencia tardías. Si no puedes asistir a nuestra boda, indícalo en el RSVP para que podamos planificar con tiempo.

¿Cuáles son los arreglos de hospedaje?

Answer

Tenemos tarifas con descuento disponibles para nuestros invitados en hoteles cercanos al lugar de la boda, con un servicio de transporte desde y hacia el lugar. Puedes encontrar más información en la sesión "Viajes". Si te alojas en un Airbnb, te recomendamos que te alojes en la zona de El Poblado.

¿Tendrán servicios de transporte hacia y desde la boda?

Answer

Sí, tendremos transporte disponible en los hoteles donde tenemos acuerdos para hospedaje con descuento. Si deseas utilizar este servicio de transporte, debes planificar tu estadía en uno de estos hoteles o reservar un Airbnb en esta área. Pronto tendremos información detallada.

¿Puedo tomar fotos durante la ceremonia?

Answer

Tendremos una ceremonia "desconectada" (sin teléfonos ni cámaras). Pedimos amablemente a todos nuestros invitados que estén completamente presentes durante este tiempo especial. Hemos contratado a profesionales para capturar este momento. ¡Después de la ceremonia, siéntete libre de tomar fotos y videos cuando quieras!

¿Cómo me muevo por la ciudad?

Answer

Puedes usar Uber o taxis locales para moverte. Te en cuenta que los taxis solo aceptan pagos en efectivo.

¿Las empresas aceptan pagos con tarjetas de débito/crédito?

Answer

Si, aunque la mayoría de los comercios aceptan el pago con tarjeta, te recomendamos que lleves algo de dinero en efectivo para cambiarlo a pesos colombianos.

Si, aunque Medellín es generalmente segura, te recomendamos que estés atento a tu entorno en todo momento. Ten especial cuidado con tus pertenencias y no dejes artículos como tu teléfono celular afuera.
