I first met Aidan in freshman year of college at Grand Valley. Aidan, and a few of our mutual friends, were on the GVSU League of Legends team which is how we first met. After becoming acquaintances, we realized we were in the same geology class together, and our friendship was fully formed after our class took a field trip to the sand dunes. For the last decade, Aidan and I have frequently gamed together and met up to do various things like see the Pistons vs Lakers game, go to the League of Legends NA finals, and see Tyler the Creator.

I first met Mikhaila in the summer of 2025. We first met because of a mutual friend asking people to be part of a Dungeons and Dragons group. From the first meetup, I knew we would be good friends. We quickly hit it off. By the second meetup, after I gave her a Pikachu sticker and she gave me a Care Bear sticker, it was quite clear to me that first impressions were correct. Our group has consistently met almost every week since then. We bonded over DND, Twilight, Lord of the Rings, and as a result, we established a link between our brains via Bluetooth.

My older sister and esteemed inventor of "The Border Crossing Game". As an older sibling, Jen has always looked out for me even if it led to her detriment, like the time she cast my fishing line for me and got a hook stuck in her head. An exceptional ringleader to our shenanigans, I will never forget the time we "got lost" on the way to the cottage and took a detour to Niagara Falls. Since my parents knew Jen would always be looking out for Jack and I, we were granted quite a bit of freedom from a young age that, without Jen, we wouldn't have otherwise.
Officiant
My older sister who I share many lovely and not so lovely memories with. When we were little we would play school together, she would force me to count to 100 in the corner of her room when I got scared from a nightmare, she was always better at Guitar Hero than me and I distinctly remember the day she beat Free Bird on expert mode. I cannot thank her enough for being the catalyst for Danny and I taking our Japan trip. She is an extremely intelligent, determined, and fiercely loyal individual with exceptional organization skills and we knew immediately she should be our officiant.
