Flight
The best airport for Montreal is the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL). The airport is located about 25-35 minutes from the downtown areas. From the airport, you can use a ride share service, e.g., Uber; take a taxi, or rent a car.
Travel Note
We hope that guests will take this wedding as an opportunity for a getaway and visit the beautiful city of Montreal. We will outline some neighborhoods and accommodation options. Also check out the Explore Montreal page for ideas on how to spend your time in Montreal. This is a celebration of us and our loved ones.
Travel Note
For easy access, you can stay in Old Montreal or downtown. There are also some amazing neighborhoods like Griffintown, Plateau, and Little Italy. We will provide some options, but the entire city is an option! You can find lodging on hotel websites, booking.com, priceline.com, expedia.com, airbnb.com, or through your credit card travel booking site.
Travel Note
Montreal is an easy city to travel around. The best way to explore the neighborhoods is to walk! Old Montreal, the Port, downtown, and many neighborhoods are easily walkable. If you want to travel a bit further, we recommend using a ride share service. Overall, it is a beautiful city to explore and find a bit of everything.
Travel Note
The venue is access via ride share (e.g., Uber), taxi, car, public transport, or even bicycles! To get there by car ride share, cross the the Jacques-Cartier or Concorde Bridge. If you are driving, a number of parking passes are available through the parking attendant. For taxis, there is a 24-hour taxi station at the Casino de Montréal. You can also call the taxi company of your choice. We encourage you to use a taxi service that has GPS, but the easiest option to leave is walking over to the Casino and taking a taxi from there. For public transportation, the Jean-Drapeau subway station is located on île Ste-Hélène. Shuttles connecting the subway station and the Casino are in operation year-round by bus (STM 777). Buses also provide service to Jean-Doré Beach. Accessing Parc Jean-Drapeau by bike is done by taking the Jacques-Cartier, Concorde or Victoria Bridge. And there are usually five BIXI stations on the islands during the summer months: at the north entrance of the beach, the Jean-Drapeau subway station, La Ronde, the Casino and the river shuttle landing dock.
