Dani and Craig met through mutual acquaintances while in college studying theater and art in 2006. They became close and were really good friends for years. They connected on art, architecture, history, and travel. There came a time when they were both recently out of relationships. Though just friends, they were already smitten with each other by that time. Dani’s 21st birthday was coming up and Craig asked her out. He took her to a swanky bar and in the candlelight, they confessed their feelings to one another. They shared their first kiss in the moonlight and then they moved in together. It wasn’t long before they were traveling to Guatemala and cruising to Mexico. Since then, they have shared the stage and gone on tour together. They have also collaborated on art projects and discovered their mutual love of gardening, nature, cats, and tropical plants. Craig proposed to Dani over the Atlantic Ocean on the Carnival Sunshine cruise ship. It was near the end of their week long cruise and Craig had been carrying the ring around waiting for the most epic moment and the suspense was building. Their cruise ship was approaching New York City, as was Hurricane Maria. As some unseasoned cruise passengers panicked over the prospect of being on the water during a hurricane, Dani and Craig decided now was the perfect moment to have some privacy in the hot tub. They were sharing a kiss in the rain as Craig slipped the ring onto Dani’s finger. They will be married on October 2nd, 2019 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico on their 11 year anniversary of that first kiss under the moonlight.
