Baltimore/Washington International is just about an hour’s drive from Frederick and offers tons of domestic flights. It’s a convenient choice, with plenty of rental cars and Uber/Lyft options waiting when you land. Pro tip: it’s a straight shot west on I-70 for a smooth and easy ride to town.

Located about an hour from Frederick, Dulles is a major airport offering plenty of flight options for our out-of-town guests. It’s a great choice for those looking for direct flights from across the country. Rental cars and rideshares are easily available.

Visitation Hotel in downtown Frederick is a luxury boutique hotel housed in a historic building that was once a Catholic convent and school! Housing an award-winning restaurant and bar, this hotel is located right next door to St. John's! Dani and Will will be staying here the night before and night of the wedding.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Frederick

If you are looking for something more casual and don't mind driving 10 minutes, Homewood Suites in Westview Promenade is an excellent choice. A short drive from both venues in downtown Frederick, Westview has plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, as well as other hotel choices!

Travel Note

Carroll Creek Parking Garage

If driving to the ceremony, we recommend Carroll Creek Garage for parking. This garage usually has plenty of space, and is conveniently located on the same block as Citizens Ballroom! Please plan about 10-15 minutes to walk two blocks to St. John's. Alternative options also include Church Street Garage or Court Street Garage. FYI: In case of snow on the streets, many of the street parking spots will become snow piles, so the garage is a safe option!
