The Rocky Mountain National Park Scenic Loop is 164 miles of pure mountain adventure. This four-hour drive will take you from Denver to Estes Park, through Rocky Mountain National Park on the magnificent Trail Ridge Road and then through Grand Lake, Granby and Fraser to Winter Park. Along the way, you can soak in alpine views, go for a hike or try and spot some wildlife from Forest Canyon Overlook. With COVID, they may be limiting how many can enter the park. So call ahead and make a reservation if possible.
You can enjoy spectacular flights over the Winter Park and Fraser Valley year-round. This is such a unique experience, to see a bird's eye view of the Continental Divide, peaks into Rocky Mountain National Park and all the beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers, and forests within.
