Question

What is the COVID-19 protocol for this wedding?

Answer

We ask that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to attending our wedding. In addition, to improve safety for all participants, we request that all guests take a rapid test prior to attending their first official wedding weekend event (out-of-towner drinks, beach day, wedding/reception, etc.).

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding and reception?

Answer

With very few exceptions for members of the wedding party, our wedding celebration and reception will be an adults-only event. However, we would love to see your little ones during our beach day at Fire Island! For friends with questions around childcare, please reach out to us directly for advice and planning.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception both at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held on-site at Land's End Waterfront Catering in Sayville, NY

Question

Will there be transportation between the hotels and the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be running shuttles between the Homewood Suites and Courtyard Inn Ronkonkoma and the venue. This shuttle will meet guests in front of the Homewood Suites at 2:00 PM, and will return guests to those hotels following the reception. For guests staying at the Land's End Motel: the trip to the wedding venue is approximately 250 paces across the street, give or take a champagne or two.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Absolutely! There is ample free parking on-site at the venue.

Question

Do I need a car for this wedding weekend?

Answer

If you are staying at one of our hotel blocks, you will not need a car for this weekend's official wedding activities. Both hotel areas are easily accessible from the Long Island Railroad, and shuttle transportation will be provided between the hotels and the wedding venue. If you are staying at an AirBnB or other accommodation, or wish to venture further afield, it's a toss-up. While Ubers are certainly available, Long Island is bigger than you think - you may want to consider renting a vehicle.
