This annual 3-day River Fest just so happens to be taking place the same weekend as our wedding! The event will be downtown at Wingfield Park and tickets are only $10. Check out the website for more info. This would be a fun option for Friday before meeting up with us at The Eddy for our Welcome Event or on Sunday if you're planning to stick around for the rest of the weekend and keep the fun going!
Easy hiking trails just off of Mt. Rose Highway. Beautiful place to get out in nature.
Outdoor space in the middle of old shipping containers that have been turned into individual bars and lounge areas. In the center, there are tables, games and a couple of bocce ball courts. The Eddy is right along Truckee river in downtown Reno.
Over the water driving range at the Grand Sierra Resort.
Old-timey town tucked away in the hills of Nevada. This is a fun and unique place to explore.
Grab some coffee and walk along the Truckee river down in the Riverwalk district.
Truckee is a cute little town near Reno right off of Highway 80. They have some cute shops, restaurants, and breweries that are fun to check out.
There is much to explore in Tahoe, and it's a fairly short drive just over the mountain from Reno. We recommend coming up a day or 2 early so you have plenty of time to play and explore around the lake.
If you've seen pictures of Lake Tahoe, there's a pretty good chance the picture was taken in Sand Harbor. This is a beautiful beachy area that is a great place to hang out for the day or to catch the sunset. Be aware that there are parking fees for the area and it can get particularly busy in the summer time.
