12:00 pm
Originally, we planned this as a single group day, but since there’s been a lot of interest, we’re opening it up to be more flexible. Adam and I will be arriving about a week early and plan to spend time trail riding throughout the week. Guests are welcome to join us anytime during the week leading up to the wedding or on the Saturday after- whatever works best with your schedule.
4:00 pm - 4:45 pm
Our ceremony will take place atop the San Juan mountains and getting there is part of the adventure! Guests will ride a private ski lift up to the ceremony site, where the mountains open up to the most stunning views. Please arrive no later than 3:30pm for transport by ski lift or 3:15pm if you require vehicle transportation. The last ski lift will be leaving at 3:50pm. Don’t worry- this lift is closed to the public, has comfortable, wide seats, and moves slowly so everyone can enjoy the ride (grandparents included!). It’s a truly unique part of the venue’s design and adds so much magic to the experience. Accommodations will be made for anyone who cannot or prefers not to ride the lift - just let us know in your RSVP so we can help with arrangements. Please note: There are no restroom facilities (outside of nature) at the top of the mountain, so plan accordingly before riding the lift.
5:00 pm
Purgy’s Slopeside Restaurant is right outside the ski lift and just steps from the lodging - less than a minute’s walk!
1:00 pm
We’d love for guests to check out Animas Forks with us for a convoy during the weekend! It’s a beautiful, historic ghost town tucked in the mountains, and the drive there offers some of the most scenic views in the area. Once we know who’s interested, Adam and I can help set up rides so it’s easy for everyone to join! Adam and I know the trails well and can share tips for the route. It’s a fun way to experience the Colorado backcountry on your own adventure!
