Originally, we planned this as a single group day, but since there’s been a lot of interest, we’re opening it up to be more flexible. Adam and I will be arriving about a week early and plan to spend time trail riding throughout the week. Guests are welcome to join us anytime during the week leading up to the wedding or on the Saturday after- whatever works best with your schedule.
3:30 pm - 4:45 pm
Guests taking the shuttle should meet at the arrival court next to Purgy’s by 2:45 PM, and guests riding the ski lift should arrive at the base of the lift behind Purgy’s by 2:45 PM. Once everyone has arrived atop the mountain, our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that all guests arrive on time so everyone is present as we say, “I do.” Please note that late arrivals cannot be accommodated due to Purgatory Resort’s lift operations and staffing schedule. Our ceremony will take place atop the beautiful San Juan Mountains, and getting there is part of the adventure! Guests will ride a private ski lift to the ceremony site, where the mountains open up to breathtaking panoramic views. Please note: There are no restroom facilities (other than nature!) at the top of the mountain, so we recommend using the restrooms before boarding the lift or shuttle.

Purgy’s Slopeside Restaurant is right outside the ski lift and just steps from the lodging - less than a minute’s walk!

We’d love for guests to check out Animas Forks with us for a convoy during the weekend! It’s a beautiful, historic ghost town tucked in the mountains, and the drive there offers some of the most scenic views in the area. Once we know who’s interested, Adam and I can help set up rides so it’s easy for everyone to join! Adam and I know the trails well and can share tips for the route. It’s a fun way to experience the Colorado backcountry on your own adventure!
