It is not necessary to rent a car in Bogota as public transportation is readily available. We advise you to download the Uber app and use it as your main source of transportation. A friendly recommendation is to always sit in the front seat with your Uber driver. You may also download Tappsi, Beat and Cabify if you don't feel comfortable using Uber. Make sure to carry some cash with you in the case you can not use a card.
