If it weren't for the inconvenient routine that altos and tenors sit in separate sections, Dani and Michael would've met a whole lot sooner. They rehearsed together every week for over a year and never met - until The Choral Arts Society of Washington went on a tour of five cities in China. Dani was tour roommates with Ariel, the epicenter of a fabulous social circle. It was in this Tsingtao-loving group that Dani and Michael met, eating jellyfish and chicken feet and making just a little fun of Dani's abhorrent chopsticks skills. Kindred spirits in travel, beer, and music, Dani and Michael have been adventuring ever since. ...and Dani's gotten much better at using chopsticks.
This marriage is especially brought to you by: - Kate and Nazar Sharunenko, for getting Dani to move to Virginia - Logan Brown, for convincing Michael to join him in DC - Scott Tucker, for inviting Dani and Michael to join Choral Arts - Ariel Gold, for introducing Dani to Michael and feeding her "Baby Bird"
