The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire, with suit jackets optional. Please dress stylishly and comfortably to enjoy the celebration! Kindly note, glitter is not permitted, including on dresses or accessories, per church policies. Thank you for helping us preserve the beauty of this historic venue.
We’re thrilled to celebrate this special day with you! Our wedding will take place at a beautiful, 300-year-old sacred church, a historical site protected by the National Park Service. As such, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines to help preserve this special location: - No tossing of rice, petals, confetti, or birdseed. - Bubbles, glitter, or glittered items (on flowers, ribbons, etc.) are not allowed inside the church. - Food and beverages are not permitted inside the church or on the grounds. - Smoking is prohibited on the premises. - Alcohol and weapons are not allowed anywhere on site. Weather Note The church is a bit of a walk from the parking lot, and in the Texas July heat, we recommend dressing accordingly. We’ll have water bottles available outside the church before the ceremony, but please note that outside food and drinks are only allowed in the parking lot. The Reception
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Our reception will be hosted at The Veranda, a unique and enchanting venue nestled in a lush green haven in the heart of San Antonio. Known as the original "castle on the hill," the estate features a charming 1931 stone house, an artist cottage, a spacious covered pavilion, and rolling oak-lined lawns. Dinner and drinks will be provided at this venue following the ceremony. Please note the following guidelines: -Confetti, glitter, birdseed, synthetic or dark rose petals, are prohibited. -Outside food or beverages are not allowed. -Bringing alcohol on-site is strictly forbidden, and violations will result in confiscation by a uniformed officer, or a Veranda employee. -The venue is non-smoking, with designated areas outside.
