Lodging in San Diego

Travel Note

Locale

Mid-City Church is located just off the 15 and University Ave. Great places to stay that are near here are: City Heights, Kensington, Normal Heights, North Park, University Heights, Mission Valley/Hotel Circle. Anything in Downtown and on the Coast tend to get crowded in the summer. That being said, depending on the San Diego experience you are looking for, this may be a good option!

House Or Rental

Airbnb San Diego

Airbnb in San Diego is a pretty good option for one-two nights. For those who have not used this website before, it offers a platform for property owners to rent available space in their homes (or entire homes) on a night-to-night basis. So, you sign up, pay the fee, and have a room for the night! Like a hotel, but with locals! In searching, we found some great options from $55 in North Park for a private room, $75 in Kensington for a private room, and $96 in City Heights for a back-house!

Hotel

Hotel Circle

Hotels in San Diego can get pricey in the summer. The best bet typically is Hotel Circle, a conglomerate of hotels located just off the 8 freeway in Mission Valley. They range $130-$180 a night on the lower end, (but call the hotel for good deals). Conveniently, from Hotel Circle you can take 8 East to 15 South and you will be right at the Venue!
